I realize that the first pitch has yet to be thrown in Spring Training, but it’s already time to get ready for the All Star Game festivities.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday for Major League Baseball’s All-Star Fan Fest, a baseball extravaganza that will be staged at the Anaheim Convention Center. Beginning on Friday, July 9, this five-day event will launch the All Star Week festivities which will lead into the actual All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 13 at Angel Stadium.
The Fan Fest is described as the “World’s Largest Interactive Baseball Theme Park” with over 450,000 square feet of baseball exhibits and interactive displays.

Angels legend Rod Carew, who is the spokesman for the 2010 FanFest, says that the event “will provide more than 100,000 fans of all ages with an interactive baseball experience,” featuring more than 40 baseball attractions and exhibits.
Also on sale Tuesday are the tickets for Taco Bell All-Star Sunday to be held on July 11th. This event will showcase baseball stars of tomorrow in the XM All-Star Futures Game as well as baseball legends and celebrities in the aptly named All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. So if you’d like a front row seat to see A-listers like Alyssa Milano and Whoopi Goldberg take the field, you should buy your tickets early (use above link).
